กรมอุทยานฯ เผย คนไทย 24 ราย ครอบครอง สิงโต 153 ตัว ระบุ เป็นสัตว์ป่าควบคุมต้องแจ้งการครอบครอง เปิดโทษความผิด หากไม่มีการแจ้ง เร่งสอบปมคลิปว่อน
จากกรณีชาวต่างชาติพาสิงโตนั่งรถเบนท์ลีย์ เปิดประทุนแล้วขับตระเวนในเขตพื้นที่เมืองพัทยา จ.ชลบุรี โดยมีคนถ่ายคลิปนำไปโพสต์ในโลกออนไลน์ จนเป็นกระแสฮือฮา ตามที่เสนอข่าวไปแล้วนั้น
ล่าสุดวันที่ 24 ม.ค.2567 ผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานว่า นายอรรถพล เจริญชันษา อธิบดีกรมอุทยานแห่งชาติสัตว์ป่าและพันธุ์พืช ได้สั่งการ นายนฤพนธ์ ทิพย์มณฑา ผู้อำนวยการสำนักป้องกัน ปราบปราม และควบคุมไฟป่า ให้ชุดปฏิบัติการปราบปรามการกระทำความผิดด้านสัตว์ป่าและพืชป่า (ชุดเหยี่ยวดง) ตรวจสอบข้อมูลเบื้องต้นดังกล่าว
จากการตรวจสอบทะเบียนรถซึ่งบรรทุกสิงโตที่ปรากฏในคลิปวิดีโอข้างต้น คือ รถ bentley รุ่น continental gtc ในจ.ภูเก็ต ผู้ขับรถยนต์ที่ปรากฏในคลิปดังกล่าว มีลักษณะเป็นชายศีรษะโล้น ผิวเข้ม
สืบทราบว่า น่าจะเป็นชาวศรีลังกา ซึ่งไม่น่าจะเป็น นางอัจฉราพร โดยคาดว่าผู้ขับรถยนต์น่าจะซื้อหรือเช่ารถมาจาก TNP IMPORT CARS PHUKET โดยยังไม่ได้ทำการโอนรถเป็นชื่อของตัวเอง แต่นำมาขับขี่ในเขตพื้นที่เมืองพัทยา จ.ชลบุรี
นายอรรถพล กล่าวว่า ชุดเหยี่ยวดงได้ประสานสำนักบริหารพื้นที่อนุรักษ์ที่ 5 (นครศรีธรรมราช) ร่วมกับตำรวจในท้องที่ จ.ภูเก็ต เข้าดำเนินการสอบถามถึงผู้ที่เช่า หรือซื้อรถยนต์ดังกล่าวจากนางอัจฉราพรว่าเป็นบุคคลใด ซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างดำเนินการตรวจสอบ
นายอรรถพล กล่าวต่อว่า โดยขณะนี้ สำนักบริหารพื้นที่อนุรักษ์ที่ 2 (ศรีราชา) ได้สั่งการเขตห้ามล่าสัตว์ป่าเขาชีโอน ร่วมกับด่านตรวจสัตว์ป่า และตำรวจการท่องเที่ยวเมืองพัทยา เข้าตรวจสอบบ้านของ น.ส.สว่างจิตร (ขอสงวนนามสกุล) ที่มีการแจ้งครอบครองสัตว์ป่าควบคุมไว้ในพื้นที่สำนักบริหารพื้นที่อนุรักษ์ที่ 3 (บ้านโป่ง)
นายอรรถพล กล่าวอีกว่า สิงโต ถือเป็นสัตว์ป่าควบคุมที่ต้องแจ้งการครอบครอง โดยเป็นสัตว์ควบคุมชนิด ก. ผู้ขออนุญาตต้องมีมาตรการการควบคุมที่เข้มแข็ง เข้มงวด เพราะเป็นสัตว์ที่มีความดุร้าย อาจจะสร้างความหวาดกลัว หรือทำอันตรายแก่ผู้อื่นได้
นายอรรถพล กล่าวด้วยว่า หากไม่แจ้งมีการแจ้งการครอบครอง จำคุกไม่เกิน 1 ปี ปรับไม่เกิน 1 แสนบาท หรือทั้งจำ ทั้งปรับ หรือหากไม่ปฏิบัติตามระเบียบ จำคุกไม่เกิน 6 เดือน ปรับไม่เกิน 5 หมื่นบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ
นายอรรถพล กล่าวต่อว่า ขณะนี้มีผู้แจ้งการครอบครองสิงโตทั่วประเทศ จำนวน 153 ตัว ทั้งที่เป็นบุคคลและสวนสัตว์เอกชน 24 ราย
